As time passes, his children reveal their true nature. Greed corrodes their gratitude. The Natsamrat movie takes a dark turn when his son-in-law, Mukund, humiliates Appa, accusing him of being a nuisance. The final straw comes when Appa realizes his own daughters have locked the door to his own room.
