If you collaborate with clients using 2025 DWG features (Dynamic Blocks, Solid hatches, Point clouds), v5 will fail. You will see proxy objects. However, if you work in a closed environment producing simple 2D shop drawings or as a solo freelancer, v5 is faster and leaner.
